Here is what I do for my plants…I take a pencil and poke very deep holes in the center of the mass of roots. That way the water will go all the way down into the roots. Also for houseplants - put them in saucers filled with rocks and just rill the saucer below the top of the rock - keep yours plants hydrated and looking healthy and pretty!
