Keep Cut Flowers Fresh and Alive!
Posted on 09.21.07 by thegardengossip @

I love to get flowers. However, they just never last as long as you would like them to. You just can not really enjoy them for more than a week depending on what kind of flower they are. Here is a tip on how to keep them fresh for a few more days at least. When you put the water in the vase add 2 tsps. or sugar and 2 tsps. of apple cider vinegar. Be sure to cut the fresh flowers at an angle under warm water before you put them in the vase. It is as simple as that. So do not just shove your beautiful flowers in a vase of water anymore!
