Do not think that you can prune your roses or trees that have thorns in them without gettign pricked by one because it will happen and when it does it is just very painful. That is why you should always wear gloves!! You do not want to get a cut and have it infected especailly when it is just so easy to prevent. Get a nice pair of leather pruning or gardening gloves…or even just a regular pair of gloves sometimes can help.
