It is just so important to weed and do that fall cleanup. If you have annuals dig them up and get rid of them and if you have perennials then make sure you cut them back especially if they are diseased. Also make sure that you clean up all the leaves to because it is not going to do anything for your healthy plants and trees other than create bug, mold and other plant disease problems. It is a pain and you just really do not feel like doing this anymore since you don’t really get anything out of it but in the long run it is worth it and so much less work in the Springtime!
