Here is a great tip if you have a lot of pine trees in your yard. Sure you hate it when all the needles fall all over the place…it can make quite the mess. But now you can actually do something useful with them. You can collect them and use it for your acid loving plants…put it in the mulch or your compost pile because as the needles decompose they will also deposit their acid in the soil.
