If I were a kid I would love to be in a yoyofactory! Kids today really don’t know simple toys like yo-yo’s…I loved them. I had like 3 books on how to do tricks…yes I was a geek. But it was so fun and I wasn’t the best at it but I was pretty good. Good enough to do an act in my 6th grade talent show. Everyone thought it was very cool. We had kids to jump rope acts, magic acts and then you had the usually dancing and music and singing but my yoyo act was one of a kind. The teachers said that they had never seen a yoyo act before in the talent shows! Filed under: Children Comments: None |

When you have a child that is potty training it is a great idea to also get a step stool. Sure they all start out on their little potty’s but they have to wash their hands and in many cases they simply can not reach the sink to wash them properly. And then a step stool also will come in handy when you get those portable potty seats that you can actually put right on the toilet. And then you can also use a step stool for your own needs to get things that are just too high to reach! Filed under: Children Comments: None |

If you have a daughter that was born in December then you may just want to look for nice birthstone jewelry for those born in december. Birthstones are nice to get and December is so pretty – I love that color blue. And what a great time of year to get someone jewelry. You don’t need a specific reason to get the jewelry because the holidays are right around the corner. If you don’t know what to get her…you just can not go wrong with that birthstone…just make sure that you get it right. I once had a boyfriend that thought I was born in June…I am not! There is nothing like getting nice engravable plaques to commemorate something that you have done. It is an especially proud moment for younger people when they get an award that has a plaque or trophy involved with it. It is something that they will keep possibly for their lifetime depending on what they did that was so special. It is much better than a certificate or a ribbon…a trophy you can put on a shelf and a plaque will get hung up in a room. And the engravable plaques are even more nicer because they are so personalized. Filed under: Children Comments: None |
