So you just picked or got all of your fresh vegetables and you are putting them away in the fridge. Well, if you would like them to last longer without going moldy or mildewy within the first 2 or 3 days then you wan to line your veggie draws with sponges and put the vegetables on the sponges. Do you ever get hard ripe fruit like peaches that you would really like to each but you just can not because they are just so hard . Just put the fruit with a ripe fruit or a ripe banana in a plastic bag for a few hours. The ripe fruit will soften the others because it releases their natural gas…pretty interesting actually. Growing a pumpkin is just so easy to do! You just have to start very early. Right now it is too late to start growing them but you can enjoy them and go pumpkin picking! Pumpkins just need a lot of water. But anyone can grow that really big pumpkin and can have their own mini pumpkin patch if they wish too. You just have to start way back in July!!!
