Do you have have nice new geraniums and you want to keep them looking as nice as the day you purchased them? Then here is a great tip for you. All you have to do is get a potato and put a small hole in it then put the stem of the geranium into the hold. Then bury the stem as well as the whole potato. This is the time of the year when a lot of seeds are sprouting. You can collect them and store them in a bag for next spring…it will save alot of money, is very easy to do and you can actualy make you own flower stand and sell them! Impatients have a lot of seeds – they fill up in pods and then just explode with seeds…store them in a cool and dry place for the winter! Filed under: Gardening Tips Comments: None |

Do not just think because it is the fall that you should not keep on wedding. Remember the weeds that you do not pull up … sure they will not survive in the winter. However, you will see them back in the Spring..and you really do not want to see them again. It is not good to see the weeds from last year. You do not want to start off the new season with the old mess! Filed under: Gardening Tips Comments: None |

Bird feeders are great if you love to feed the birds but you also get a whole bunch of other pests and animals that you may have not wanted to feed or bring in your yard. Becuse that you do your research on the feeders you get so that the squirrels wil not be stealing al of the bird food you left out for the birds! Filed under: Gardening Tips Comments: 2 Comments |
