Well, this is going to sound weird but you just want to basically burn their house down. And it is really simple because your are going place a flowerpot upside down over the ant hill and then make sure you have scorching hot boiling water and pour it right through the gran hole and basically you will be completely burning down their house. Thus getting rid of those pestky first ants that are just a pain anyways! Filed under: Gardening Tips andInsect and Bugs Comments: None |

I just hate bugs and I really hate mosquitoes. I find them to be so annoying and I just can not stand them. Here is the thing though..you can avoid having these pesky mosquitoes hanging around you and your backyard. Next time when you do the laundry keep the fabric softener sheets and just pin them up to your clothesline…they will help repel the mosquitoes. Filed under: Insect and Bugs Comments: None |

Dish soap will kill aphids even better that the insecticidal soaps however, it may harm your plants. Alwasy be sure to test a small area and only use 1-2 tablespoons of dish soap to a gallon of water and DO NOT use antibacterial soaps…they will hard your plants. Personally, I have had great luck with Equate. Filed under: Flowers andInsect and Bugs andLawn Care Comments: None |

I don’t know about you but the mosquitoes are horrible in my area. We have had the entire area sprayed and still no relief. You can not go outside after 5 p.m. because it is just so bad. Here is a tip for those with the same problem. If you can afford the mosquito magnet it really does work but so doesn’t garlic. Unfortunately if it rains then you have to reapply it but if you have a small back yard this really can help fix the problem. Filed under: Insect and Bugs Comments: None |
