So I was watching TV and apparently the Science Guy’s estranged wife tried to poison his flowers and garden with some toxic herbacide. So weird huh? Some people are just out to look for attention. Why not just pull them up or cut them down. And why go after his garden…well I guess he really loves his garden that is why but still. Very weird and strange story. How many people like to rake the leaves? I do not at all. Actually, I like to start but then it gets old really quick. Just be sure to wear your gloves because you will get so many blisters. And I forget every year and then I have the worst blisters that last quite a long time actually. If you are going to rake get a good rake too. There is nothing worst than getting a ton of leaves stuck in everything and the rods breaking off. Fall is here!! Filed under: Personal Stories Comments: None |

If you wear knee pads for your sports then why not for your gardening. If you know that you are going to be on your knees then go out and get those chap pads that will protect them. You only have one set of knees and they have to last otherwise you will be miserable! And these knee rest pads are so cheap. I got mine at a local Walmart for $5 and right now everything is marked down so you really should go shopping to get stuff for next year. Filed under: Personal Stories andProducts Comments: None |

Be sure that you bend you knees when you are doing your garden and lawn work. You do not want to hurt your back. And it can be a great strain on the knees too. I find that if I do not bend properly that I am in pain for quite sometime. And this can be avoided too. Do not pick up things that are too heavy. Know your limits because you could do serious harm. And get help when you need it. You do not have to do everything yourself…even though that is what I think all the time! Filed under: Personal Stories Comments: None |
