Great Gardening Tips

Ginkgo Tree
Posted on 01.16.11 by thegardengossip @

I have been looking into different trees for my yard this year like the ginkgo tree or perhaps a palm tree but then I came across almond trees and I just had to have them. I got 4 of them and I planted them as soon as they sent them because trees and plants can not be sent until the season is right. So, now I just have to wait. Unfortunately I have to wait a few years but if I get almonds from it…it would be so worth the wait. I just really hope that they live. I usually have better luck after the first year passes when it comes to trees.

Planting Trees
Posted on 12.20.08 by thegardengossip @

Now is the time in many areas that is the best time to plant those trees. It is always a great idea to plant trees that are in their dormant stages. They have better chances of surviving. Most reputable places to buy plants will actually only ship during these times. And only order from places that guarantee their flowers so that if they do not grow you can call or even return them.
